Bug\u00fcn Cumhuriyet Mahallesi Beykent \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nin hemen biti\u015fi\u011finde bulunan, 1989 y\u0131l\u0131nda yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olan bu binan\u0131n riskli oldu\u011fu tespit edilmi\u015f ve y\u0131k\u0131m\u0131na ba\u015flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Teknik incelemelerin sonucunda muhtemel Marmara depremine kar\u015f\u0131 riskli oldu\u011fu tespit edilen 624 konutun 2023 ve 2024 y\u0131llar\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde y\u0131k\u0131lmas\u0131 planlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00d6zellikle B\u00fcy\u00fck\u00e7ekmece\u2019de bug\u00fcne kadar 40 bine kadar konutu yeniledik.
